Oh, I love this post, Jen! You’re so right. I grew up with some tough stuff…alcoholism, divorce. And I had a rough ride in my early adulthood. But you know what – it has all made me so much more able to ride out the little bumps that come with LIFE. My childhood was still HAPPY, even though it wasn’t perfect. And it put me in a great position to create a happy life as an adult.

What an inspirational post! You have given your kids such a great way to deal with the messy moments of life. I love the phrase ‘awesome, yet at times, painful’. This explains so many life moments!

Here’s to you and your new chapter in life!

Jen, I’ve been following your lead every step of this painful journey. (Well, except for the two kids and a soon to be ex-husband.) But your successes inspire me and your strength helped me through the worst.

    Here’s to your good health!

Your piece was awesome, yet at times, painful.

    You made me cry.

I’m glad you’re here. You make the world just a little bit wiser.

Nicely done, Ms. Singer. Very nicely done.
(And, not just the article, I mean the past six years.)
