It’s hard serving something healthful that the girls won’t turn their noses up at.
It is hard to keep the kids all happy with every meal. There is usually a complaint about one thing that has been made for them. (unless it is mac and cheese and hot dogs)
My teenager has a world-weary, jaded, faux-superior look on his face most of the time. I hope it’s a phase. Surprisingly, he is not embarrassed by kid things, so maybe these will give him something pleasant to talk about.
The hardest thing for me is getting home from work in time to cook a real meal worthy of a sit down dinner. But I guess eating cereal around the table is still a meal together, right?
I would say having the time and work schedules sometimes prevent us from sitting together as a family for dinner.

the hardest thin i will say is time, we are always on the run and never have time for a real conversation.
