Now that summer is here (or soon to be here for some of us), I thought I’d give away something for the kids and something for mom, figuring that if the kids are content, maybe Mom can get a break.

I spoil myself by giving myself a complete pedicure. It’s so soothing and refreshing to pamper yourself while watching your favorite reality shows. And when the pedicure is done, I just get out the cocktail I made for myself before I started the pedicure and relax and watch until my feet are dry. Heaven!!
Coffee, quiet and a library book!
I LOVE a good pedicure with some yummy coffee and a good book in hand.
I agree with many of the earlier posts…I love a quiet house and a good book. Also a mani/pedi and a facial at my favorite spa are treats, too.
Saturday evenings my husband watches the kids for an hour while I go to a local tea shop and sip a pot of tea and read a book. It’s bliss.
I only get to do this about once a year, but I like to go get a pedicure!!
I take one evening off a month to scrapbook, 6 hours of not being in-charge or responsible is my greatest luxury!
my everyday treat for myself is a 2 mile hike down the lane…me, nature, silence or sometimes my ipod……heaven …….my very favorite treat(when i can find the time) is to curl up with a good book, my front porch swing and a cool drink….
I spoil myself by reading a good book…such as the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series and giving myself a pedicure
I like to spoil myself with my favorite meal or some sweet treat! An all-natural ingredient facial is also one of my favorite ways to do some self-pampering!
Yumm..We are big Funky monkey snackers in this house!!
A nice Jacuzzi bath with a good vampire novel
I do have to agree with some of the previous post’s as well “A quiet house” ahhhhh!
Spoil myself – what’s that?
I like to leave my husband in charge of our boys (started with 5, thankfully the oldest 3 have grown up and moved out on their own leaving our 10 and 12 year olds) then head out to get my hair done (I swear hair dressers have magic fingers when it comes to the scalp massage during the shampoo!) and then spend as much time as I want browsing the book and yarn stores downtown.
i like a bubble bath extra bubbles candles music no kids
I like to take a looooong shower and read a good book!
I know it does not seem like much….but one of my favorite things to do is to buy a pint of raspberries and bottled glass milk (in either rootbeer or orange flavor).Drink it and enjoy fresh raspberries, on my way home before I have to tackle taking in all the groceries, the kids “helping” to unload all the sacks all at once, and a when is dinner mom…when when when.
I’m with Gina – an EMPTY HOUSE!! During that rare opportunity, I go with what I feel… it might be cleaning, organizing, napping, watching a chick film, reading, gardening…. whatever. If it’s something non-productive, I do my best to NOT feel guilty about it!
fav way 2 spoil myself is in my jacuzzi with a tall mamosa in the morning sun after the family has left for shool & work….. wink!
With a good book and a cup of coffee in a quiet house. That’s a treat for me.
Going for a nice long run, or sticking the kids in the YMCA tot watch for a good weight lifting session. If nothing else, some yoga while they watch a movie in the other room!
I spoil myself very simply. An empty house, a good book and a dish of icecream! I’m easy to please…..oh, make that mint chocolate chip!
