The December 26th of Mom Bloggers

For mom bloggers, the day after Mother’s Day feels like December 26th. You know, like you’ve just slid butt first into home plate and now you’re waiting for the dust to settle in your hair.

I. Am. Tired.

Also, incredibly grateful, lucky and loved. Here’s why:

In the past few days, I’ve been able to …

...appeared on CNN International to talk about Mother's Day (even though I went in the wrong door. I found my way to the studio eventually)....

...coached the team to victory after an hour-long delay of the start of the game...

...have a great meal cooked by my husband Pete (and overseen by my father-in-law), while my son Nick coined the phrase, "Where there's smoke, there's Pete."...

...celebrated Mother's Day -- and 2 1/2 years in remission from cancer -- with my family. My mom is on the left and my mother-in-law is on the right. I am crouching so they don't look like they've shrunk.
